The Chef
This was an unexpected visit to a new place. An old friend said he was dining here and I was ready for dinner. I headed to McCully Shopping Center, found a parking space. I didn't expect to be in the unofficial Hiroshima Carp headquarters in Hawaii. Nor did I know how good the yakitori items — every single one — would be. A man can dream, so my dream is that I would have my own kitchen with a great chef, cooking me and family and friends incredibly tasty and quality yakitori every night.
This wasn't cheap but it wasn't pricey either, given the freshness and quality and skill. We dined like kings. No doubt.
