Tanioka's has always had spectacular ahi poke. This time, it just tasted beyond that. It was ethereal, the perfect flavor combination, the perfect texture and tenderness. At $22+ per pound for limu ahi poke, I got just a quarter pound. But it was worth it, especially with the shiso musubi, just tart and vinegary enough to complement the poke. Win.
