Mrs. Odo, my fifth-grade teacher at Ala Wai Elementary, was one of the teachers who had us sing as she played ukulele. She loved to sing Hawaiian songs. One of them was the Humuhumuukunukuapua‘a song. I don't remember the full melody and lyrics, but I remember the gist of it. Thank you, Mrs. Odo!
