Taiyo Ramen: Chicken Curry Rice, Favorite Gyoza



I don't get to Taiyo Ramen much these days. Or nights. It's often crowded, and I've been cutting back on my caloric intake, i.e. white rice. But this was a good opportunity on a day when I didn't have much to eat. The Chicken Curry plate was fitting, and though I couldn't finish it, I had the leftovers for breakfast. A perfect breakfast.

I enjoyed the gyoza, as always. My favorite gyoza of all time, especially when the cook chars it perfect like this. The carmelization makes all the difference, and the filling is always meaty and heavy with garlic. As it should be.

Ask for kim chi or you won't get any. The Taiyo kim chi is a bit on the sweet side, but still excellent.
