“The Autobiography of Malcolm X” was one of the few books I ever finished front to back. It was grim. Heartbreaking. Sometimes, though, funny. I never forgot the musings and conviction of Malcolm Little, who became Malcolm X and was assassinated in 1965. Three years later, they took Martin Luther King Jr.
