Resolution 20-159: Hope still alive for Star-Advertiser staffers facing layoffs

Being furloughed, potentially laid off from the dream job. That's what a lot of us are facing as employees of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. It is wonderful, however, to see that we have friends across the state. Two of them, Honolulu City Councilmembers Carol Fukunaga and Ann Kobayashi, even drew up a resolution. From what I understand, this was completely unsolicited. From council members to former governors to everyday citizens like ourselves, the support to save the livelihoods of nearly 30 of us is heartfelt. Mahalo!
